Just Around the Corner

One of the perks of moving to a nice, affordable neighborhood in Chicago is that it attracted some family and friends to the area. Sure, they'd like to say they moved here by coincidence, but I'd rather believe they just can't get enough of us.

Last year, we got 2-for-1 when Miriam's sister Carina and her husband Jeremy moved in just a few blocks away, then our good friends Lynn and Bleys and their little Josephine rented the apartment below them (you may remember Lynn & Bleys lived with us in '06 when they brought newborn Josie home from the hospital). It makes it ever so easy to pop over, say on Carina's birthday, with a slowcooked chicken dinner and enjoy the company of not one or two, but FIVE dear friends!
