Traverse City, Michigan

Who doesn't long for a road trip through Michigan in November? I'm unsure how we roped our friends into this one. Oh right, the lure of a few excellent breweries and free housing. That wasn't hard at all.

After a stop at the Livery Brewery in Benton Harbor, on to Ludington
as usual, and the kind hospitality of dear friends Gail and Larry.

A walk down the breakwall to the lighthouse.

Next, a scenic drive along the west coast
(see turkey above) north to Traverse City for an
overdue visit with Sara & Andy.

Our goddaughter, Esther, is a lovable butterball.
Our godson, Elijah, is a talker and a dear.

"Tia, oh, Tia!"
Andy currently brews with North Peak,
an offiliate of Jolly Pumpkin Artisan Ales.
We are so proud of him.

Quality time with his godfather.
The Mosses live literally across the street from
Traverse City Bay. Unfortunately, I didn't
think to get a picture of the view from their home.

Funny Faces

Last October, before he could walk, I took a few snap shots
of some of my nephew Julian's interesting facial expressions.

This kid is a real ham. What a dear.

Fall with Friends

In October, Jenny treated us to a delicious Korean dish, Bim Bop. And it was Becca's birthday! Bim bop that!

Mid October, I drove down to Quincy, IL with Chris & Christine for a visit with Jon & Sarah, and Bleys & Lynn visiting from Colorado. Lots of kids, lots of driving, lots of fun.
